Abstract

This research study aimed to find out the efficacy of Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) and internet websites have making it possible for teachers and students to enhance their language capabilities effectively. This study looks into the demographic details of the teachers under consideration, observing specifically that most of the respondents are between 40 and 49 years old, have a 1–5-year teaching duration, and have a fair degree of exposure and competence. Though quite a few advanced users in the study possessed advanced skills, they reported gaps in their professional development and training, which stifled their potential to improve as technology-enhanced teachers. It is mainly Google Classroom and Zoom that teachers utilize when conducting language lessons, as these apps are effective and convenient. Nevertheless, issues like low digital literacy and a lack of children's technology limit the potential of these tools. Many teachers note the mechanisms of CAL and the use of different online platforms as attention grabbers for students, enabling them to learn languages more efficiently and develop them with the help of graphics, playing games, and doing it at their own pace. However, language teaching with the help of computers is a complex process, and therefore, schools should make sure that all facilities are available, and hence all staff and learners know how to operate the internet and the computers, plus further training is available when needed. The mentioned and numerous other changes suggest that CAL can be utilized for the enhancement of language learning and connectivity.
