Status and Challenges of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Funded Fishery Projects in the Municipality of Binmaley

This study sought to assess the status and challenges of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR)-funded fishery projects in the Municipality of Binmaley, Pangasinan covering the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. The research aimed to describe the profile of fisherfolk associations involved in these projects in terms of their names, locations, membership, registration status, years of operation, and funding sources. Furthermore, it summarized the BFAR-funded fishery projects implemented in the municipality, evaluated their present conditions, and identified the major challenges encountered during implementation.
